As the Hollywoodbets Super League draws to a finish, there were a few unexpected and surprising results.

JVW were surprised by UJ who beat them again by 3-2.

The lowly placed Vasco da Gama also beat JVW 1-0.

JVW are now in fourth place with UWC and TUT occupying second and third place respectively.

UWC’s 5-0 win against Golden Ladies and TUT’s 2-1 win against Ma-Indies, displayed good form for both teams and showed that they want to close the gap against the free-flowing Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies.

Sundowns are on top of the league with 76 points after playing 28 games.

UWC is in second place with 65 points after playing 29 games, TUT is third with 62 points after playing the same number of games.

JVW with 54 points is in fourth place after playing 28 games and Bloem Celtics is in position five with 50 points after playing 29 games.

The going is tough for our own Coal City Wizards after being beaten by Sundowns 7-0 on Thursday, November 17.

They were again beaten 1-0 by Bloem Celtics on Saturday, November 19 at Bloemfontein.

Wizards are placed 13th on the log with 23 points after playing 29 games, winning only seven, drawing two and losing 20.
