Residents are warned to be on the lookout for robbers making their way across town in a blue Citi Golf

The incident is believed to have occurred on the evening of February 16 on Clarendon Street.

Robbers are making their way around town in a blue Volkswagen Citi Golf after an alleged robbery earlier this week.

It is believed that a lady was walking down Clarendon Street on the evening of February 16 when three men pulled up in a blue Volkswagen Citi Golf.

Allegedly, one of the men jumped out of the vehicle, pointed at her with a firearm and demanded her bag.

The men are believed to have fled the scene with the victim’s on-hand electronic devices and an undisclosed amount of cash.

The SAPS advises that potential hostages must do everything the perpetrators tell them to do and must try to maintain their pride, dignity and self-respect.

Victims should not become panic-stricken, hysterical, or offer any form of resistance.
