Shave, cut and colour for a good cause

'We have set up stations in two sections of the Highveld Mall to make sure everybody supports us'

The Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) is on a daily mission to help those facing the harsh reality of cancer.

The association aims to set up as many donation stations around South Africa in a bid to raise money for cancer patients.

On March 3 and 4, the team set up stations in the Highveld Mall with coloured spray bottles in the hand.

The public was invited to shave, spray and donate to the good cause.

Organiser Lloyd Dlamini said it was a slow start, but the event build in numbers as time went on.

“The event has been successful. We have set up stations in two sections of the Highveld Mall to make sure everybody supports us in this very important campaign to raise money for the Cansa foundation. We would like to thank everybody for their support,” said Lloyd.
