Tragic end for man missing since weekend – found dead after accident

The police have confirmed his death after an accident with a truck at Waterval Boven.

Wilson Masango, a 38-year-old man who went missing over the weekend, was found dead following a fatal accident. Masango had left eMalahleni at around 18:00 on October 18 for a routine trip to the Oshoek Border Post to have his passport stamped but never returned.

His disappearance triggered an urgent search by Witbank Police, who appealed to the public for any information about his whereabouts or the white Toyota Aygo he was driving.

Witbank Police have now confirmed that Masango died after being involved in a fatal accident with a truck at Waterval Boven the same day.
