Two shot in separate incidents in Vosman precinct – police are investigating the incidents

Police are urging anyone with information that could help solve the two cases to come forward.

Police in Vosman are investigating two cases of attempted murder after two people were shot and injured in separate incidents in the Vosman policing area.
The first incident occurred in Kwa-Guqa Extension 10 on November 5.

According to the police, a man was walking from work when a vehicle stopped next to him, two men got out and assaulted him as he fought back.

The man further told the police that one of the men took out a firearm and shot him in his ear and thigh.

The man was then searched and robbed of his phone, wallet, passport and a bag with his customers’ phones.

The case is under investigation. In the second incident that occurred in Thushanang on November 12, a man told the police that he was sitting in his car near a local tuckshop when he was approached by four men who asked him why he was looking at them.

The man told the police that one of them had taken a firearm and shot him in the chest. The case is also under investigation.
Police are urging anyone with information that could help in the investigation of the two cases to contact Vosman SAPS at 013 244 7196, or alternatively, 079 891 5314.
