Kakarambha Foundation extends a helping hand to those battling addiction

Kakarambha Foundation brings hope, support, and essential resources to those struggling with addiction in Hlalanikahle.

Kakarambha Foundation continued its mission in Hlalanikahle, reaching out to individuals struggling with drug addiction, distributing food parcels, and words of encouragement.

The initiative, part of the foundation’s ongoing efforts to combat substance abuse, aimed to remind those battling addiction that they are not alone and that there is hope for a brighter future.

“We believe that showing love and care is a crucial part of the recovery process,” said Thando Masango from the foundation. “By providing these food parcels, we’re not only addressing their immediate needs but also sending a strong message that we care, and we believe in you.”

The event on March 20 featured inspiring talks from speakers who have overcome addiction themselves, sharing their stories and offering words of encouragement to those still struggling.

“Addiction is a battle, but it’s one that can be won,” said recovering addict Skhumbuzo Miya. “You are stronger than you think, and with the right support, you can break free from the chains of addiction and start anew.”

“We’re not just fighting against addiction; we’re fighting for the well-being and dignity of every individual,’ said Thando. “We’re committed to walking this journey with those who are struggling, one step at a time.”
