New Life Church’s evangelism outreach brings hope to eMalahleni

Some members of the church recently made turns to different shopping centers across the city in the restoration of lost hope through ministering.

eMalahleni was recently blessed with restoration when New Life Church hosted an evangelism outreach that touched lives around the city.
On March 21, more than 30 members of the church divided themselves into small groups of three and spread out to different shopping centers, ministering for hope and restoration.

The outreach was led by Raymond Richard Boswell, who emphasised that the initiative stems from the book of Matthew 9:37-38, which says, “Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few’. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

“We approach people, ask them to share their stories, because it’s not all about just praying for them, but also to understand where they are coming from through their stories. We want to build a bond with them, restore hope for the hopeless, and share love with them,” said Raymond.

The outreach invited people to share prayer requests, as well as personal stories. Many opened up about their struggles, and the teams prayed with them right there, offering encouragement and reminding them that they are not alone.

Raymond emphasised that the outreach was not about forcing belief, but about ministering with love, listening, and praying for people in their everyday spaces.

As the upcoming outreaches are set to take place every second month, Raymond is calling on everyone who would like to join the team in doing the Lord’s work to reach out to him at 082 562 3990 or contact New Life Church directly at 013 656 6428.
