Tasbetpark claimed top honours at successful soccer festival

The next generation of sporting stars was in action at a local festival, where young athletes displayed impressive skill, determination and teamwork.

Laerskool Tasbetpark hosted a soccer festival, bringing together schools from across the area for a day of exciting football action.

On May 30, Laerskool Tasbetpark emerged as the overall winner after an impressive performance.
Merlin Park secured second place, while Laerskool Duvhapark and Alex Mampane shared third-place honours.


Teams from Greendale School, Carissa Primary School, Laerskool Duvha, Phakama Primary School, Bongiduvha Primary School, Laerskool Dennesig, and Bonginhlanhla Primary School also took part in the festival, contributing to a memorable day of competition and camaraderie.

Players showcased their talent and determination throughout the tournament, while supporters created a lively atmosphere from the sidelines.
School principal Vusi Magudulela expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful event.


“A heartfelt thank you to everyone who played a part in making our soccer festival a tremendous success. To our learners, coaches, staff, parents, sponsors, stall holders, officials, volunteers and supporters, your dedication, enthusiasm and teamwork made the day truly special,” said Vusi.
