Sassa confirms July social grant payment dates

If your grant isn’t paid on the scheduled date, please visit your nearest Sassa office for assistance.

The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has confirmed the official payment schedule for next month, with payments starting next week.

Grant beneficiaries are urged to take note of the specific dates assigned to their respective grants to ensure a smooth and organised collection process at pay points, bank ATMs, and participating retailers.

According to the agency, the July 2026 grant payment dates are:
• Older persons’ grants are paid from July 2
• Disability grants will be paid from July 3
• Children’s grants will be paid from July 6

Sassa reminds all recipients that there is no need to rush to withdraw funds on the very first day.

Once the money is deposited into the account, it remains safe and available for collection at any time throughout the month.

In the event that a beneficiary does not receive their social grant on the designated day or experiences technical issues with their payout, they are advised to directly visit their local Sassa branch office or contact the agency’s official helpline for assistance.
