13 lives lost in 24 hours across Mpumalanga

The Traffic Alert urges motorists to slow down, avoid dangerous overtaking, and drive responsibly.

13 lives were lost in separate crashes across Mpumalanga on July 18.

According to Louwtjie Swart from Traffic Alert, four people were killed in a head-on collision on the R555 between Roossenekal and Stofberg.

Four more people died on a taxi crash on the R40 between Barberton and Mbombela.

Another five fatalities were reported in a separate crash during the same 24-hour period.

“Please slow down, avoid dangerous overtaking, and drive responsibly,” Swart said.
