A new term begins with brand new uniforms for Thuthukani learners
130 Thuthukani Primary learners receive a boost ahead of the new school term.
A total of 130 learners at Thuthukani Primary School received full school uniforms through a Mandela Month giving initiative aimed at supporting learners ahead of the new school term.
The event took place on July 23 and was led by the SoGutjhe Royal House and Blue Mining Services, together with their contractors Siphumelele Trading, Sandvik, and Dunlop Belting.
The initiative formed part of the annual 67 Minutes for Mandela campaign, which encourages individuals and organisations to dedicate their time and resources towards making a difference in the lives of others.
Ndabezitha Sipho SoMbali Mahlang from the royal house said, “This gesture not only honours the 67 minutes of service central to Mandela Day but also reinforces the importance of caring for our people. We appreciate partners for their leadership and compassion.”
