Nissan NP200 stolen outside eMalahleni restaurant
Police advise motorists to use additional security measures to prevent their vehicles from being stolen.
A motorist returned to an empty parking bay after his Nissan NP200 was stolen outside an eMalahleni restaurant on August 4.
According to police, the incident unfolded around 18:45.
Police advise extra precautions
A case was opened at Witbank SAPS, and investigations are under way to trace the vehicle and the perpetrators.

Warrant Officer David Ratau of Witbank Police Station advised that, despite having tracking devices, motorists must take additional security measures to prevent vehicle theft.
“When people leave their vehicles in parking spaces, they should always make it hard for criminals to steal their vehicle by making use of gadgets such as steering locks,” Ratau said. “We are not saying cars with steering locks don’t get stolen, but we have noticed that they are often safer than those with none.”
