eMalahleni women gather to tackle self-doubt
Eunice Khanye shared five key steps to help women overcome internal battles and fulfil their potential.
Women in eMalahleni recently came together for the She Conquers gathering, centred on the theme ‘Break free from self-doubt’.
According to the founder of the movement, Eunice Khanye, the event, held on August 4, provided women with a safe sisterhood space, where they were encouraged to believe in themselves and start working towards fulfilling their God-given purpose.
Students, entrepreneurs, mothers and professionals gathered for honest conversations and encouragement.
Khanye challenged attendees to confront the inner voice that asks, “Who do you think you are?” She said the greatest battle is often not with the world outside, but with the doubt inside us that questions our ability, worth and potential.
“Self-doubt convinces us that we are not good enough, not ready enough or not capable enough,” she said, adding that self-doubt rarely tells you to quit. “Instead, it tells you to wait until you are more confident, have more money, more experience or more approval. Before you know it, you have spent years waiting for the perfect moment. The perfect time does not exist. Start before you feel completely ready.”

Khanye shared five ways to break free from self-doubt:
• Know yourself
• Stop comparing yourself to others
• Take small courageous actions
• Don’t let someone else’s success define your failure
• Make new declarations about yourself.
Mrs Bold finalist Patience Magagula shared some valuable life lessons with the attendees and encouraged them to always dominate in whatever they are doing.
“In the midst of all your pain, fight to become,” Magagula said. “Make noise about yourself and your business so that the world may see the great woman that you are.”
Khanye thanked the guests for showing up and sharing in the beautiful moment: “To every woman out there, always remember that you are powerful beyond measure. You are limitless, and there is so much more within you than you can even imagine.”
