Makua celebrates 10 years of empowering women

A decade of empowering women, inspiring growth and celebrating purpose.

Mmasechaba Makua celebrated the 10th anniversary of her annual Invitation to a Cup of Tea at eMalahleni City Hall on August 22 under the theme “Let Her Grow”.

The celebration brought women together for a day of inspiration and empowerment, featuring keynote addresses by Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng and Connie Ferguson.

Phakeng encouraged women to embrace every opportunity, while Ferguson spoke about discipline, faith and the importance of not allowing circumstances to define one’s future.

For Makua, the milestone represents a vision that began when she was in Grade 10 and has grown into a decade-long journey of empowering women.
