Robert Carruthers School learners shine at MST competition
Five Grade 6 learners from Robert Carruthers School placed in the top positions among 119 participants from 55 schools in the district.
Grade 6 learners from Robert Carruthers School gave their all at the recent Mathematics, Science and Technology (MST) Nkangala District competition.
The event took place at Greendale on September 12.
All five learners from the school placed in top positions out of 119 learners representing 55 schools in the Nkangala District.
In mathematics, Mahirah Karrim achieved fourth place, Evadine Stander took fifth place, and Jordi Mbodi finished in sixth place.
In natural science, Stander claimed seventh place and Kwazikwenkosi Mkhonza secured ninth place.
“We are so proud of our Grade 6 learners who represented our school at the next round of the MST Competition,” the school said. “Your hard work, dedication and brilliance shone through. You have made us incredibly proud. Keep reaching for the stars.”
