Community invited to prayer event against substance abuse and GBV

Kakarambha Foundation invites the community to a prayer event against substance abuse and gender-based violence.

The Kakarambha Foundation, in collaboration with other local stakeholders, invites the community to a prayer event addressing substance abuse and gender-based violence GBV.

The event starts at 09:00 on October 7 and takes place at Lynnville Park.

Uniting against social ills

The gathering aims to offer support and hope to affected individuals and families, providing a platform to pray for intervention, healing and solutions to combat these social ills.

“We believe that prayer and collective action can bring hope and transformation to our community,” said the organisation’s founder, Thando Masango. “GBV and substance abuse is not a battle affecting mere individuals, but it affects the whole of eMalahleni. To conquer, we must unite.”
