The games started on Saturday, December 26 at Ackerville grounds as there were only seven teams which took part in the tournament which was played over a three 3 days period.

Trevor Dube of Sport Wrap Foundation CEO and organiser of the tournament said:

“Boundary United coached by the well travelled George Khumalo were defending their title and it seemed an impossible task as there were a lot of new teams who had a point to prove. However in the finals Boundary United beat Ackerville All Stars by 2-0 to defend their title and pocketed R5 000 and a live sheep to celebrate.”
