Park Run officially begins in eMalahleni

Something new and exciting has just started in eMalahleni and its something for the whole family to enjoy. It is the new Park Runs.

On Saturday, April 30 Bruce Fordyce was there to do the official opening of the park run in eMalahleni at Eskom Gijimas Club.
Bruce has done more than 100 park runs himself.

All the people that took part in the Park Run on Saturday, April 30 at Eskom Gijimas Club.

Park Run is an organised free weekly event, it’s a 5km route, timed and takes place around the world. They are open to everyone as it’s safe and easy to take part in.

These events take place in pleasant parkland surroundings and they encourage people of every ability to take park, from walkers to those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors to those with more experience.
