Germany here I come!

Ebrahim Aboobaker is the best Mercedes-Benz Service Advisor in the country and has been chosen to represent SA at the 2014 Mercedes-Benz Tech Masters.

McCARTHY Inyanga’s Ebrahim Aboobaker is the best Mercedes-Benz Service Advisor in the country and has been chosen to represent SA at the 2014 Mercedes-Benz Tech Masters event in Germany.

Fifteen countries are each sending a team of six to take part in the Tech Masters to determine who is the best of the best.

Each team consists of a service advisor, parts salesman, diagnostic technician, chassis technician, drivetrain technician and a maintenance technician.

They will compete for the title at Mercedes-Benz’ Academy in Stuttgart over the course of a week.

‘It’s really a big thing’, says an exited Ebrahim.

‘The event is only held every second year and it takes hard work and dedication to make the team.

I had to go on many training courses and attend numerous events, with the result that I had to spend a lot of time away from home and my family.

But I had their support and that means the world to me.’

Ebrahim will spend a whole week at Mercedes-Benz’ global headquarters, but it won’t all be work.

There will be a tour of the Mercedes-Benz museum and a visit to the factory.

He’s also been told to get an international driver’s license, and the word ‘AMG’ was mentioned, so he’s hoping to get his hands some really wicked cars.

An SLS AMG Black Edition will do…
