Intaba Rally

A LOCAL Empangeni Motorcycle Club will stage the Intaba Rally in Eshowe on 30-31 May. This will be the first organized motorcycle Rally since 1976.

In 1976 the now famous Rhino Rally started on the very same grounds.

Bikers from around the country will make their way to Eshowe for a weekend of fun and entertainment. The Intaba Rally will create a stir among the community and bring some life, fun, entertainment as well as revenue to Eshowe.

Day visitors will be allowed entry on the Saturday only. Many competitions and bikers’ games will take place as well as some great music. Food stalls, flea market stalls and a Biker Bar will be available on site. A competition for the best looking motorcycles will also take place on Saturday.

The Motorcycle Club, Bad Bunch,will contribute towards the well-run Gratton College from the proceeds of the Intaba Rally. The club looks forward to eveyone’s support to make the first Intaba Rally a ‘big’ success.
