Acclaimed Biblical play back by popular demand

Stage set for Bible-based musical Mary Magdalene set to take place in Richards Bay

After an enthusiastic response to the once-off local presentation of original Bible-based musical Mary Magdalene, the cast has agreed to put on two more concerts by public demand.

These will take place on Friday, 13 and Saturday, 14 November, again at Richards Bay Community Church in Disa Dives, Veldenvlei.

Written by popular musician Eugene Viljoen, who also composed the original songs, the play tells the story of misunderstood and often discredited Biblical figure Mary Magdelene, unfolding the story of her journey from a troubled past to redemption as a devoted follower of Jesus.

The talented cast of musicians and singers comprises Eugene Viljoen, Pedro de Mello Machado, Daniel de Gois, Bernice Clifton, Grant Clifton, Anton Cawthorn-Blazeby and Ken Watson.

Tickets cost R100 and can be booked here.
