The King’s Experience

THE uThungulu tourism marketing campaign ‘The Kings Experience’ will be taking a step up with the launch of a new advertising video to be aired on national television – timed to promote the region’s tourist attractions before the December holidays.

The project kicks off at the University of Zululand’s Bhekuzulu Hall at 6pm on Saturday, 25 October when the first video clip will be launched on YouTube, focusing mainly on the heritage and cultural aspects the district has on offer.

Thula Thula Private Game Reserve, Shakaland and Dlinza Forest in eShowe will be among the main attractions featured.

uThungulu is urging the public to download and share the video as there is a big prize to be won.

And while the downloads kick in to spread the word, phase two of the campaign is being finalised – a clip which will focus on the the region’s outdoor life, beach vibes and nightlife, as experienced by seven well-known celebrity ambassadors.

The two video clips will then be amalgamated into one television advertisement.
