St Lucia Hippo Festival

The annual St Lucia Hippo Festival will be on 27 and 28 June.

Guests can enjoy a three-course meal at the ‘James Bond 007’ dinner, dance and comedy evening on Friday night at 6.30pm.

Come dressed as a James Bond character or villain of your choice.

Music will be provided by the Ses Snare Band and Jannie Moolman.

Comedians, Pierre Breytenbach and Hannes Brummer from the TV show, ‘Proesstraat’ will entertain.

The gates to the festival will open at 9am on Saturday with a packed programme of entertainment.

Catch musicians on stage including, Mathys Roets, Thean Kotze and Peter Hoven, MD Greyling and Leon Encroignard, Hunter and the 1925 Band.

There will be food and craft stalls, Pot-A-Braai, Cars in the Park, entertainment for the children, boat trips and game drives.

Entrance fee is R30 for adults, children U12 – R10.
