SIX people died in a crash on the R618 between Vryheid and Nongoma last night.
According to a statement by KZN Emergency Medical Services spokesperson Robert McKenzie, a bakkie reportedly overturned. A further 11 people were injured and treated on scene by paramedics.
‘The patients were transported to local health institutions, including Vryheid Hopsital for continued medical care,’ said McKenzie.
