Popular Richards Bay paper seller passes away

Zululand Observer mourns the loss of long-time newspaper seller Mandla Oscar Myeni, a beloved figure in Richards Bay.

THE Zululand Observer sadly reports the passing away on Monday of newspaper street seller, Mandla Oscar Myeni.

Having operated in the Richards Bay Alton area since he started selling newspapers 15 years ago, Mandla was a firm favourite with many company staffers who awaited his door-to-door deliveries with great anticipation.

He would also distribute the latest news read at intersections in the CBD, where his smiling face will be missed by motorists.

Condolences are offered to Mandla’s family, friends and colleagues.
