Drifting action comes to Richards Bay oval track

Richards Bay oval track to host weekend drifting event this Saturday, which also serves to honour late uMhlathuze deputy mayor

PETROLHEADS have another exciting event to look forward to when a host of top drifters will be in action at the Richards Bay Motorsport Oval on Saturday, 30 May.

The event will also honour the memory of the late city deputy mayor, Cllr Christo Botha, who was an avid supporter of local track racing.

East Coast Drift will enjoy the challenge from several upcountry drifters, and the field will include Donovan, Damian, Brandon, Morne, JP, Ejan, Ruan, Mark and Larry.

There will also be regular oval track racing in what will be a great day of winter action.

Gates open at 10am, with the action starting at 5pm. Admission is R100 for adults and R50 for children. For more information, contact Michelle on 082 3273231.
