One killed, four injured in Hluhluwe crash

ONE man has died and a further three people were injured in a late afternoon crash on the R22 near Hluhluwe on yesterday (Sunday).

At least three vehicles were involved in the collision at around 4pm.

According to Robert McKenzie, spokesperson for Emergency Medical Response KZN, a man believed to be 35-years-old was declared on scene.

‘Four other people were injured, one critically and three seriously,’ he said.

The exact cause of the collision is subject to police investigation.
