Family mourns death of young father
‘We will surely miss him dearly and he will always be in our hearts.’
IN a single moment an Empangeni family has been robbed of a husband, father and a brother.
Car salesman Kim Simpson (33) was killed in a head-on collision on the N2 on Monday afternoon while travelling back to Empangeni from Mkhuze.
His passenger, whose name must still be released, also died from injuries he sustained in the crash.
Another person was critically injured and taken to hospital by ambulance.
Simpson, who worked as a salesman at McCarthy Inyanga Motors, is survived by his mother Sandra, wife Dominique, sister Bronwyn and three young children.
Dominique, who married Kim in 2013, is currently expecting their fourth child, a boy.
‘Kim was a helpful, kind and giving person with a bubbly personality,’ said Bronwyn.
The funeral will be held at Open Door Assembly in Aquadene, Richards Bay at 11.30am on Saturday.
