7 injured as car ploughs into pedestrians
The car overturned and crashed into a group of people waiting for transport.
KZN Emergency Medical Services reported seven people were injured on the Ndwedwe main road in the Illembe District, after a car overturned and ploughed into a group of people standing by the road side earlier today.
‘The group of people had been standing on the side of the road waiting for transport,’ said KZN EMS spokesperson, Robert McKenzie.
‘The injured included the occupants of the vehicle.’
Two of the patients were critically injured while others sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor.
‘Paramedics transported all patients to Osindisweni Hospital for further treatment.’
