UPDATE: Fiery evil spirits no match for holy water
An eSikhaleni man who was 'tormented' by ghostly fires has been healed.
COULD mysterious night fires which tormented an eSikhaleni man for years finally have been doused by divine intervention?
Victim Sthembiso Nyawo (28) says he believes blessed water provided by an Empangeni pastor has finally extinguished the hellish flames. Nyawo told the Zululand Observer on Friday that his nightmare seems to be a thing of the past.
‘I had to pour the pastor’s holy water with matchsticks in it in my bath water. Since doing so I haven’t seen anything,’ he said.
Last month Nyawo said evil spirits started hounding him after he broke up with his ex-girlfrind in 2011. He said his bed inexplicably caught fire while he slept with his current girlfriend, and the situation became progressively worse as all his clothes were shredded – including his shoes, caps and his security uniform.
‘I know people think I want attention or I am mentally disturbed, but I am not crazy. All these things happened to me,’ said Nyawo.
On Friday Nyawo said he was already in the process of replacing his belongings destroyed in the fires.
‘I just want to thank everyone who prayed for me,’ Nyawo said.
