WATCH: Richards Bay fatal accident raises crucial driver safety concerns

Motorists are urged to avoid taking unnecessary risks while driving

FORCEFUL action by traffic authorities is required to once and for all change motorists’ behaviour and put a stop to the ongoing carnage on Zululand roads caused by reckless driving.

That was the sentiment of bystanders
at two serious accident scenes in the city over the weekend.

A three-year-old boy died and two other children and a female passenger were rushed to hospital with serious injuries when a car crashed head-on into a truck in Bullion Boulevard in Richards Bay on Saturday morning.
