‘Save Unizulu’ backs new Chancellor

In a press statement released this week, the organisation praised Zondo's upstanding stature, which they firmly believe is a starting point in restoring the dignity of the institution

‘SAVE Unizulu,’ an organistation comprising staff, ex-staff, students, alumni, community members and church leaders, has welcomed the appointment of newly elected University of Zululand Chancellor, Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo.

In a press statement released this week, the organisation praised Zondo’s upstanding stature, which they firmly believe is a starting point in restoring the dignity of the institution.

As the name implies, the organisation was born to save, not only Unizulu, but the many future generations of the ‘black child’, to ensure and sustain the break in the cycle of poverty of future children of Zululand through providing them with quality education.
