University of Zululand’s (UniZulu) new Chancellor, Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo, was inaugurated last week at the university’s Bhekuzulu Hall in KwaDlangezwa.

His main mission is to revive and restore the dignity of the institution.

Zondo has received many accolades for his contribution to human rights.

In January this year he was appointed by former President Jacob Zuma as the Chairperson of the Commission of Inquiry into allegations of State Capture.
