Future Farmers making a difference in the lives of student agriculturists

IN a celebration of another successful year, agricultural students, industry leaders, farmers and agri-businesses came together last Friday at Cedara Agricultural College for the annual Future Farmers Day.

The event paid tribute to the achievements of the Future Farmers Foundation’s current and past graduates.

Future Farmers, the brainchild of Howick dairy farmer Judy Stuart, is a unique social programme aimed at cultivating the skills and passion for farming among young aspiring farmers between the ages of 18 and 30.
