Four arrested during eShowe police raid

Successful crime operation for Empangeni and eShowe police

THE Empangeni Public Order Policing unit and eShowe police arrested four suspects on various charges during a crime operation last Thursday.

Police raided four homesteads in the Vuma area and the suspects were arrested for, among other things, unlawful possession of firearms, stolen goods, a South African Defence Force uniform and dagga.

They all appeared at eShowe Magistrate’s Court on Friday and were remanded in police custody pending further investigation.

A shotgun, homemade rifle and a 9mm pistol were recovered during the arrest
