Opening defeat for Richards Bay FC

CONCEDING the only goal of the match in the 23rd minute of the first half, Richards Bay FC went down 1-0 to Pretoria University this (Sunday) afternoon.

There was little to choose between two strong sides during the GladAfrica NFD Championship match at the Tuks Stadium and, while returning without a point to show for their gallant effort, coach Simo Dladla’s NRB boys can go into Wednesday’s home tie against Cape Town All Stars with confidence.
