Financial boost for African rugby ahead of 2021 season

Rugby Africa issues grants for continent's rugby unions

GREAT news for African rugby unions is that Rugby Africa recently announced its 276 490 Euro grant that will be used towards preparations ahead of the 2021 season.

Funds will be allocated to unions Namibia, Kenya, Uganda, Tunisia, Zimbabwe, Algeria, Zambia, Madagascar, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal and Ghana.

A very targeted approach has been put in place to ensure the funds are applied where they will have the greatest and most immediate impact, while highlighting the attractiveness of Rugby Africa competitions.

The 11 recipient unions will carefully consider their most urgent development and/or improvement needs.
