If you missed the live feed over the weekend, here is a recap of the prestigious event

SOCIAL media was abuzz on Saturday night as eight local women from different walks of life were honoured for excelling in their respective spheres during the first virtual Regional Businesswoman of the Year Awards.

Celebrating resilient women in business, the 2020 virtual awards acknowledged the innovative efforts of local women to remain relevant in, arguably, one of the toughest years in business.

And while the awards function did not go ahead in the same format as in previous years, the local committee believed it was essential to salute persevering businesswomen, who had weathered the Covid-19 storm.

If you missed the live feed over the weekend, below is a recap of the prestigious event.
