Richards Bay FC steal a point in the Cape

The point moves NRB up to third place on the National First Division log

DESPITE conceding a soft goal in first half extra time, Richards Bay FC will still return from Cape Town with a point after a 1-1 draw with Steenberg United.

Thabo Maphakisa found the back of the net from the penalty spot to grab NRB a share of the spoils.

They may well have been given another penalty but this was denied.

However, the hard-earned away point is invaluable as Richards Bay moves up to third place on the NFD log ahead of Sunday’s game at the uMhlathuze Stadium against TS Sporting.
