South Africans to dig deep into their pockets after fuel increase

SOUTH Africans will have to think twice before jumping into their vehicles or taking transport as they dig deep into their pockets, owing to the petrol price increase scheduled from midnight tonight (Tuesday).

93 unleaded petrol will go up by 95 cents a litre, with 95 unleaded petrol going up by R1.

These price increases are reportedly the result of the weak rand against the US dollar, with the blockage in the Suez Canal also affecting the price of crude oil worldwide.
