Mondi Richards Bay is in the process of the start-up of its mill. This follows the annual maintenance shutdown of the mill in order to perform critical maintenance and environmental improvement projects as part of Mondi’s Ecolean investment.

The start-up will be implemented as a phased approach and will continue until the end of December. The community is advised about visible and possible odour emissions, however, Mondi does have plans in place to mitigate this.
