After 18 seasons on television, Idols SA is coming to an end and will be recording its final season this year.
The singing competition, which introduced two new judges Thembi Seete and JR, last year has reportedly been cancelled.
It is, however, not yet clear whether or not the cancellation is linked to low viewer ratings.
Idols SA on Sunday confirmed it was recording its ‘Farewell Season’, with auditions set to begin on 12 February.
