WATCH: Roads blocked in eShowe amid protest action
Motorists have, however, been advised to use alternative routes.
Protesters have blocked the R66 and eShowe King Dinuzulu crossing with burning tyres and debris.
Community members took to the streets on Tuesday morning demanding the construction of a road in Nyanini outside eShowe, which they say has been promised but is yet to be delivered.
The SAPS in eShowe is on scene to monitor the situation.
Motorists have, however, been advised to use alternative routes.
