One person was injured in a collision this (Tuesday) afternoon between a taxi and a light motor vehicle on the R34 at the Medway intersection near Meerensee.
Both vehicles were heading towards Meerensee. According to witnesses on scene, the taxi is believed to have been overtaking when it collided with the light motor vehicle.
Mounties EMS and other emergency services were quickly on scene and the injured occupant of the light motor vehicle was transported to hospital for further treatment.
