Man airlifted after Mandeni stabbing

A man who was stabbed in Mandeni on Wednesday morning has been airlifted to a hospital in Durban.

He is reported to have been walking to work when the incident occurred.

According to IPSS Medical Rescue, whose paramedics attended the scene, the man sustained stab wounds to his neck.

“The decision was made to activate the Air Mercy Services helicopter, while IPSS Medical advanced life support stabilised the patient on scene,” said IPSS.
