Body dumped in Richards Bay bushes

VAGRANTS who frequent a greenbelt along North Central Arterial in Richards Bay CBD on Friday discovered a decomposed body suspected to be that of a female.

The grizzly discovery was made just before midday. The deceased was severely decomposed, with no identifiable facial features, and the race and age are unknown at this stage.

The body was found in the bushes where a stream flows through.

Richards Bay SAPS are awaiting the results of the post-mortem to determine the cause of death.
