WATCH: EFF councillors tussle during failed council sitting

Two Mtubatuba EFF councillors were allegedly engaged in a physical tussle during a council sitting last week, which collapsed.

The council sitting was called by the Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Cogta) to explain the ramifications of a recent court judgment.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, some ANC councillors, EFF Councillor Mandla Shangase and individuals said to be Cogta officials are seen walking out of council chambers as they abandon the meeting.

It is alleged that the person who was taking the video is EFF Councillor Nothile Mthethwa.
