Big Richards Bay drug bust
Police are continuing in their efforts to clamp down on illegal substances
Drugs with an estimated street value of R227 000 were seized during an operation in Richards Bay last week by members of the SAPS Provincial Drug and Firearms Unit.
Following up on information of a foreign national transporting drugs around the Richards Bay area, the suspect was monitored and arrested by police after found in possession of illegal substances on Wednesday.
Operations intensified and a follow-up investigation led to the recovery of a massive haul of drugs that were abandoned in an isolated area after dealers fled.
Police are continuing in their efforts to clamp down on illegal substances.
