Pupils in the saddle

Excitement was in the air at Maqhama Primary School in Madlankala when young pupils recently had a chance to experience horse riding for the first time.

Organised by the school’s entertainment committee, the special riding session was held at the community sport field, and thrilled hundreds of enthusiastic children.

The aim was to expose the children to a new experience, as well as offer them an opportunity to ride while they are still young.

Community leaders, teachers and parents were part of the special day.
