Crash closes N2 near Mtubatuba

Three people, including a small child, sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle collision on the N2 on Thursday morning.

The accident occurred between the Mfolozi river and Mtubatuba, in the Mkhonza area, obstructing the freeway and causing major delays to early morning traffic.

One person was rushed to KwaMsane Clinic in a private vehicle, while a mother and her child were taken by ambulance to a clinic in Mtubatuba town.

Police will investigate the cause of the accident.
